Mixing textures can be quite daunting and feel like a big style DON’T. However, with lots of practice and if done correctly you can get out of your comfort zone and put together amazing looks. The key is to mix and match the right textures and put on your most confident game face. Be it, ruffles vs far, lace vs leather, tartan vs sheer satin or embroidery vs chiffon, you’re bond to make a positive style statement
Here’s how to do it right and to ensure that you’re always #MordernBohemianClassApproved:
So I decided to take break from work and go shopping during lunch especially since hubby gave me cash to go clothing shopping as my mother’s day gift. I walked into Mr Price feeling good, as this is one of my favourite non expensive shops in SA plus I didn’t want to blow all the cash on clothes only. Any way, as I walked in store, a beautiful pair of pleather leggings just kept calling my name but once again, those that know me well, will know that I’m absolutely scared of trying fashion trends that I just don’t understand – leather pants being on of them.
Well…. as I fitted the leggings I felt this tingling feel good feeling take over my body 🙂 I loved the way I looked in them, I also felt very confident but that little conservative Nakie convinced me otherwise 😦 I walked out the store with a more conservative printed black and white pair of leggings instead. Now 3days later, I’m regretting my decision of leaving them in-store.
Lesson learned: trust your instincts, they are always right! I guess we all know where I’m going first after knocking off work today 🙂
ROCK that pleather ladies! Just remember to do it Boho Style!
Here’s how to rock this classic trend Boho style. Everyone should have or must invest in a leather jacket – myself included! #hides
